Can I submit multiple manuscripts?
We’re so glad you asked. Of course you can! Just write away you little writer, you. Just make sure that everything is double lined, double spaced. And please don’t forget your punctuation. I know a lot of you are out there writing in your fun little text threads with emojis but this is a reputable company and we won’t have any of that nonsense around here.
What is the deadline for submission?
The date is April 1st. We know that makes it seem like it’s a joke and in fact, we possibly might think your manuscript is a joke but this contest is very real. It’s very real indeed.
What sort of legal guidance do we have for this?
None. We expect you to have covered all the bases on the legality of the submission document. However, if we decide that we like it, its all ours. We’ll of course keep your name on it but that’s merely to make it seem as though you are involved. You are not. It is solely our work now. Thank you.
If I’m selected, what happens?
Good question. If selected, you will be put into a pool of other winners. At that point, we will have another side contest. This will be a battle royale with pencils and pens. You will fight to death over the oxford comma and its proper use. This will be quite a sordid affair and just know that you will be asked to sign away your legal rights.
